Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport

Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport is a full-service airport with full & self-service fuel, convenient car parking, rental cars on-site, hotel booking, crew lounge with shower, wireless internet access, quick turnarounds, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection available on demand. 

Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport has a 7,000-foot runway to handle virtually any corporate aircraft and serves as the primary reliever for Charlotte-Douglas International.

Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport is pleased to offer international customs processing on demand. The 2,500 sq. ft. federal inspection station, built to federal security and safety standards, is complete with secure offices for CBP Officers and secure storage.

Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport is also host to the City’s annual Warbirds Over Monroe air show, which draws thousands to Monroe every Veterans Day weekend.

Monroe’s lakes were constructed to supply drinking water to the City.  Fishing and boating are allowed. The City of Monroe owns three man-made lakes:
